Black NIIC

We are pleased to invite you and hundreds of other Black Diaspoic immigrant rights and racial justice leaders to join NIIC’s national partner Black Alliance for Just Immigration (BAJI) and regional/local partner Progressive Leadership Alliance of Nevada (PLAN) and leaders of local and national Black immigrant organizations for three days of engaging conversations and strategic planning October 3 - 5, 2021 in Las Vegas, Nevada. In these critical times for our communities, we are taking up space as Black Diasporic organizers and advocates at this year’s NIIC, including our own Black NIIC, and we hope you will join us!

Dates: 

  • NIIC Conference begins on Sunday, October 3, 2021

  • Black NIIC starts on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at 3pm, PST/11am, CST/Noon, EST

Conference Goals:

  •  A time for us to talk, laugh, and reconnect in community;

  •  A time to learn, plan, strategize, and collaborate;  and 

  •  A time to develop a shared agenda for Black immigrants.

Scholarships: We want to be in community with you and to learn from our collective expertise, experiences, resistance, and resilience. Therefore, BAJI has made scholarships available to Black immigrant organizers to attend this year’s virtual NIIC. If you need a scholarship to attend, please contact us at [email protected].
