NIIC 2018 Call for Proposals
Thank you to all who shared your feedback! The NIIC 2018 Call for Proposals is now closed.
What matters most?
What matters most to our immigrant and refugee communities during these very perilous times? Safety, keeping families together, to be welcomed and acknowledged as of equal status and dignity with all Americans, the promise of a future and hope for opportunity -- in education, employment, and so much more. For a decade the National Immigrant Integration Conference has been the key annual space that brings together the diverse and broad spokes of the entire sector working on behalf of immigrants and refugees, and this year, NIIC could not be a more needed space.
As we began to build for this year's conference in early June, we put out a national Call for Proposals to hear what matters most to you to learn about at NIIC, what our main stage and track sessions should feature, and which voices are most urgently needed. In times of great challenge, our vision and imaginations are even more important, and we appreciate everyone who took the time to share ideas and input with us! The Call for Proposals closed out in late July.
As always, the feedback from the Call for Proposals will be shared with our program planning teams and who will develop the NIIC program. If your proposal or ideas are moving forward and/or we are in need of additional information, we will be in touch with you directly. If you have questions about your proposal, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
